Otamatone Electronic Musical Instrument - Black

Great idea, cute design, poor performance

I gave this thing a chance but eventually returned it, here is my honest review.

PROS:
-Cute design,
-Decent plastic
-OK sound quality

CONS:
-It is really hard to press the notes. The neck is not like a touchpanel. You physically squeeze it.
-Mouth movement doesn't have any electronic features. It just opens and closes the rubber to muffle the sound.
-So basically this thing is just a fretless keyboard.
-Neck is short, unless you are a professional violin player, you won't be able to hit the notes perfectly.

Of course you can learn with practice but if you want to commit to an instrument like this, you might as well get a real violin. If you want something that makes noise, something to play, get a cheap keyboard.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Definitely Different

Anyone can play with it. I wish it had notes marked but see what that would be difficult. Unusual fun little toy and sturdy enough. Easy to use.

easy to use and good price

its sooo good wiith its sounds and there is not bad stuff about it. its just great! its easy to use and its lower price than the other otamatones that i wanted to check out! #worth it!

Great Product!

Con: Took me three times to find the right universal screwdriver in order to get the battery cap off.

Pro: Product looks and sounds perfect. It arrived here very fast. although the instructions are in Japanese, ou really do not need them. Once you get the battery cap off, look inside and there is a picture showing you how the batteries are to be place, Plus, BATTERIES ARE INCLUDED!!! Good Design! Annoying Sounds

Unless you're using this for actual music, it's just annoying. Don't buy this for your sibling that you share a room with.

Great gift!

I bought it as a present for my younger brother, who's really into music and kind of a clown, and he loved it! If you have anyone similar in your life, I'm sure they'll love it too.

Otamatone

Came surprisingly fast! Was not as loud as I had hoped, but it is cute. Would be nice if it were in English-language, but it was my fault for not ordering English. Lucky Cat Otamatone! So cute! My Daughter Loves it!

Great gift for a cat lover!

My daughter loves cats so this was the perfect gift for her. It is not very big, but is very cute. The cat's face is very sweet!

Pretty cool
