All in All A good Helmet
The LCD is very clear to see through I never thought that I would use shade 12 for welding. But its so clear you can see everything that is going on when welding. The not so good thing about the helmet is the shape of the outer shell Where the helmet comes down to the chin needs to tuck in a bit more. If you are welding in a standing position and you need to look down the chin part of the helmet hits your chest. Great helmet would recommend

It's expensive, but you are getting a top notch product.
probably costs more than it should, and the field of view is a downgrade from my last one, but it is a superior product and I'm still a satisfied customer. The weight savings and adjustments in the headgear alone made it worth it for me. No more arc flash on low amp or out of position situations. Would give 5 stars if the field of view was closer to my old one, I find I'm tipping my head/neck more than a used to, and that aggravates an old neck injury. Amazing
Best welding helmet I've used by far! Comfortable, lightweight and killer optics. So light of shade (2.0) its basically as good as normal vision. I highly recommend this product.

Optrel comes thru again with the next generation that started out with the satellite model.
This model offers clarity in light state is stunning and shadowing of the weld pudfle is minimized.

I bought this for my son, he has had all kinds of hoods and lenses. He told me nothing compares to the quality of this hood. He is convinced he can weld better because of it!

Optrel 2.0 Crystal
I'm a fan of speedglas but this Optrel helmet is the best. The clarity in the light state and the clarity in dark state is awesome.
