One Man's Hero is a wonder!
History is a little scrambled, but all together a good read. Berenger is Excellent, and the supporting cast was well chosen. The brand new copy was priced at 26 bucks or so, probably because this film never went into release in the US except in an extremely limited sense. Action adventure historical western depicts the predjudice/plight of immegrating Irish in early 1800's causing many to fight against the U.S.
Good historical depiction of the Irish who fought for Mexico in the Mexican-American war in the 1840's.
Good war action for that time period, historically accurate.
Explains why there are so many Irish surnames in the southwest U.S. today....

It’s based on a true story, which is why I wanted to see it. A documentary would’ve been better, I think, but it is an okay movie.
