whilst I thought the storyline very slow moving, it was compelling reading, to reach the ending you didnt expect.

Light reading, hard to put down.

A lady sat in the waiting room of my dentist reading 'One Day'. Within minutes four or five people were discussing the book and saying how good it was. Having finished the books I had been reading prior to this, True Blood series, Twighlight series and Vampire Diaries, I thought I might give it a try and once started, it was difficult to put it down. A very easy book to read, light reading after the vampires and werewolves, and very enjoyable, so true to life. It didn't take long to finish it, as once I picked it up, it was difficult to put down. Never before has a book got to me quite like this! Amazing!

A top-notch novel. Cleverly written, you'll love and hate the characters as if they were you're own best friends. Nicholls ingeniously presents life in a simple way; tragic yet beautiful. A truly amazing novel that will leave you wanting more. You'll lose yourself for hours in the romance, friendship and witty humour that Nicholls so easily portrays. Worth the read

Not the usual type of book I read, but was recommended to try it. So far, I’m not disappointed, it gently draws you in to their lives.
