Excellent Overall Lens

While it may not be as good as a pro level lens or as fast as others, that wasn’t what it was made, nor purchased for. I bought it for its size and versatility. Having a small and light lens with a 35mm equivalent of 28-84mm at about 1” in thickness, that can still fit in a pocket is pretty amazing. Image quality is great so far and using in on my Pen E-P5 makes it almost perfect. It’s tiny in comparison to my 12-40mm 2.8 pro, and so much lighter.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Worth every penny of the price.

Makes my OM-D like a completely different camera that is very compact and easy to carry. Only wish the lens could be extended and retracted manually instead of using up the battery.

Unobtrusive.

Be sure to screw this on correctly. I didn't at first & thought I had a bad lens. It's a great addition to my camera - unobtrusive - takes great photos. Minor vignetting, but color is better than kit 14-42mm lens. Lens cap does not fall off when you turn the camera on (thank goodness or I'd have lost it by now).Vollständige Rezension lesen

Small and Light

This lens makes it easy to carry my Olympus E-M1 Mark ii anywhere. Tiny, light weight and well made. This lens is versatile and acceptably sharp. It makes a great addition to my camera bag.

Great value

Maybe 4 1/2 stars would be more accurate but for the money, I think this is a very good lens. Like others, I would have liked the option to focus manually but the electronic zoom is fine. I would recommend getting the special lens cap made for this lens - I only have the standard one, whcih is a really thin piece of plastic that's hard to grasp and could get lost easily.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Small, useful, walk-around lens

This a very useful small lens with sufficient sharpness and zoom range. It focuses quickly and is relatively quiet. I purchased this for its convenience and ease the "burden" of the f2.8 pro 12-40mm.
