OKI B4600 Monochrome Laser Printer - Black

Poor design, Poor capacity, Not worth your time.

The OKIData hammer printers were some of the finest in the world, this thing is not. Gilbarco Veeder Root uses this printer for printing reports on every Passport point of sale in convenience stores around the world. They must get a kickback from someone at OKI because this thing is junk. I have 28 of them in service and they rarely last more than 6 months. The toner cartridge leaks and or spills very easy. Once a little toner gets down in the unit it is going to fail soon. The paper feed is not too great up front but once it gets the least bit dirty it quits feeding altogether. The drum unit loses connection and it starts telling you to replace the drum. I have HP Laserjets that are 4-5 years old at around a 75,000 page count that are still cranking. I haven't had one of these make it past 10,000 pages yet.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Happy to get a new one

Worked with our register system so we stayed with this old printer system. The original lasted through two register upgrades over 10 years, so seems a good buy

OK printer only one currently compatible with my Gilbarco system

They don't last long in gas stations using gilbarco systems. The toner is messy.

Short Life

I have ordered more than one of these printers. I print 6-7 sheets a day. After only 60 days of use, this model does not work anymore. 4th failure. Ready to try another brand.

It was plug and play installed With no problems good quality. And price was good.

Super hard to link up with my passport system.
If you don't keep it completely full of paper it jams up every time you use it.
Will be looking for a different style printer
