This is one of the greatest albums of all time!!!

I own this album, first I bought the LP (remember vinyl), then I bought the 45 of the singles (that just yells at how old I am) then I bought several cassettes (more than 3) I kept wearing them out. Today I am on my second CD and my backed up MP3s. I did a lot of good things while listening to Sting and I also did a lot of bad things (that felt really good). Call me sentimental, but I can’t listen to this CD and not be transported to another time, another place, another life. Long lost but never forgotten.

Nothing Like The Sun help me become socially conscious, forced to know who Pinochet was and what he did. Made Ruben Blades cool and Marcelis a God. I learned not all Aliens are illegal and that dancing alone was not about being a rebel but just the only form of protest they are allowed. It taught me that my wounds made me stronger and the birds on the roof will never be chased away. Sometimes I sit in church and sing rock steady to myself. I have never looked at the moon the same since. I knew little wing, we all did, she went to school with us, she was beautiful and tragic and made the night explode in emotional fireworks. In the end, I married my wife five years after we officially married, because on the day we met we had a secret marriage vow. An extraordinary masterpiece

This timeless ,beautiful album by Sting is no less than a true masterpieces. It is Stings greatest work yet. Every song is so unique and original. It's full of rich textures and deep feelings. Songs to make you laugh and songs to make you cry. Songs to fall in love to. I adore this magnificent work of art at its finest. The more I hear it the more I love it. Probably the best album of Sting ... Classic even now ...
Atmospheric is so close to his another LP The Soul Cages .
Two of them are making still very nice reminiscences ...
Musicians like : Manu Katche , Mark Knopfler , Eric Clapton , Andy Summers and many more did work together on this LP . They dancing alone - thanks this song I know about political prisoners & victim of torture in Chile .... All these things make this album the one of the best of 80`s ..That why it`s belong to me . Sting--A classic that never goes out of style

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend because he loves Sting and had lost his copy of this cd during a move from CO to NJ. I also love Sting because his lyrics are of literary quality and he has a distinctive voice. I would by almost any CD by Sting. He's like a poet that sings.
