If you are looking for the old style cake pan that were used to cook sour cream pound cakes (or such like) in that were tall enough to hold a lot of batter, you can stop looking and buy this pan. Great cake pan.

It is a good weight and will not warp in the oven. Love the side handles for removing from the oven. I had ordered this for my daughter who had never had a tube pan. Great find.

Baked my first pound cake and the depth and quality produced a beautifully baked cake. Wish I had purchased one like this long ago. Those short pound cake pans are not for the bigger recipes.
