A phone for the person looking something simple
My mun needed a new phone after the old phone a flip phone broke in two. one thing was it needed to be simple and it is. very easy to use buttons, big screen, handy menus and a torch. the build quality means it gets called the nut because no matter how many times its dropped it seems to keep going. if you are looking internet connectivity, bluetooth, email, good games, a camera, mp3 player in your phone this is not it. if you want a cheap well made phone that anyone can use then buy thisVollständige Rezension lesen...
A Great Starter, An Even Better Spare
A pared down phone with just the essentials (contacts, calls, texts) included - the only "accessory" being a super-bright LED torch that really comes in handy at times!
Perfect as a spare or as a holiday phone due to the astounding battery life (my record is 6 days of constant use on one charge!).
If you want to go even more basic, the Nokia 1200 comes highly recommended - basically the same model, but with a black&white screen instead of the 1208's colour... an adaption that gives even _greater_ battery life!Vollständige Rezension lesen...
Nokia 1208
Old is gold - this is a really simple basic phone - handy to have around as a spare - easy to use. Good sound & battery life - better than some of the later Nokia models. Quite a Nifty Little Item
The Nokia 1208 is a rather surprising phone, when it arrived I thought "Oh Dear" not going to be alot of good. I confess I was wrong, this phone was bought as a gift for a family member, it was a reasonable price, and was looking for something with not too many gadgets on it. This phone fits the bill, it is neat, light, and practical in every sense. The recipient was very pleased with the choice, and spends quite alot of time, playing the games which were included for free on this phone. All in all, if you are looking for a nifty little phone for someone, that enables them to keep in touch, simple to use and nice price, then this could well be the model to go for. Very compact lightweight easy phone to use.
Very compact lightweight easy phone to use. Nokia know's how to make them well. Mine was locked to T.Mobile but also takes Virgin sims of which i use,they are free for voice mail and 3p for text to other Virgin phones.All in all the best thing is the battery life and ease of use.They are excellent for a phone call and texting, No fancy bits to go wrong.

Easy to use Mobile Phones.
I bought this Nokia 1208 for my husband as his first phone.
It had to be an easy to use Nokia and also have the working instructions with it.
I did my research on Nokia and found various types that would do the job, but found out that this model 1208 had all the requirements needed to get you used to a mobile phone.
Also to help manage call costs, I choose Pay as you go.
Overall I'm very pleased.

Simple no frills Nokia
