brilliant phone
I bought some n70's on Ebay that were unloved and tatty looking and refurbished them.I've been using an n70 since they came out and think they are very underestimated phone, I have had the same one for years and not had trouble with it.Best thing about it is,its so easy to use and very robust.I don't understand why people buy touch screen phones,they're so easily broken and to get them repaired costs more than the phone is worth.Vollständige Rezension lesen...
Not impressed
I found this phone difficult to use with a short battery life considering it was new. Handbook was not the best to understand how to overcome issues. Never got to find out how to lock keys so it didn't keep accidentally operate in pocket. Didn't have choice of ringtones and after trying to get on-line to improve phone and failing I sold it. Most reliable and very hardy
I have a N 70 in use and found it a very reliable and very hardy phone
and very good in GPRS and as in sri lanka this one of the few phones that Video call perfectly works
so i bought 4 more phone to give out to my Site supervisors as I am in the Construction trade I makes my life easier
why N70 ?

i love the phone when they came out few years ago.... so i decided to buy another one..... i like the phone because it's like a new one... just a few scratches and nothing else.

this is the second N70 i have had. & i must say they are good.easy to use and reliable.i know its a cliche, but it does what it says on the box. every time.

Nokia N70 Smart Camera Phone
The N70 was a progression from my previous Nokia 6630 being of the Symbian series they were similiar to use. The N70 has great features and is easy to use. I especially like the way to use the 2 Megapixel camera as it has a sliding cover on the back that covers the camera lense. When you slide open the cover the phone switches to camera mode and is ready to use (even if you have the phone on key lock). You can either click the joystick to take a photo or hold the phone horizonal and press the dedicated camera button. Being a smart fone is handy too - if you buy a bluetooth GPS receiver you can install TOM TOM software on the phone and use it as a TOM TOM sat nav system. The menus are clear and easy to navigate and if you are used the Symbian system you will be right at home. I have the N70 Music edition and with one button press you are into your music player. I would recomend getting a 1gb memory card fitted so you have plenty of room for your phone software & games and music. A friend recommended me this model as i was unsure of what phone to buy as i need a very simple phone but wanted a camera this time plus music player and email facilities. That friend and wife love the phone but i couldn`t get used to it. I found the texting difficult due to small buttons and i have small fingers! Also was just wierd layout to get around easy. Also the sliding of the camera bit was a pain. This may just be me tho as i am not good with any technical devices!Vollständige Rezension lesen...
Nokia N70 Mobile Phone
I needed to replace my Nokia mobile. Having been happy with the various Nokia phones that I've used throughout the previous six years I was content to buy another.
This, however proved to be a mistake- I chose the N70 model because it looked quite similar to my previous mobile phone which I really liked untill it fell out of my hands and slipped into a puddle.
It does everything that it is supposed to do, but there are little annoying things about it e.g. the phone won't display both the name and number of my contacts, so unless the contact name specifies whether or not it is a mobile number or land line I have no idea where my text messages are going. Yes, it would make sense to specify this when adding contact numbers to my phone but I am using my old sim card and I had no to need to do so because I able to display the name and number of my contact on the screen at the same time. It is only a small thing I know but it is frustrating all the same. There are other small things which annoy me about the phone as well as this.
The phone has lots of great features such as word documents and office tools, however I have no need for these accessories.
I personally want a simple yet practical phone- the N70 however is complicated to use and is much too big in size for me.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

the phone its self is really good, the imaging, the way the menu works is brilliant.
