odr-1 bass cut

tThis pedal is very different from other overdrives. I had the mini and hated it ,too much low end, but this with the bass cut works much better and really works well paired with a Timmy type overdrive. I don't use Tube Screamer type pedals so this is good for me. I play mostly blues with Strats and Tele's and this pedal realy is best for those type guitars.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Nobels odr-1 mk2 is the best.

If you like what a tube screamer does but you want a more versatile set of options then this is the Pedal for you. I typically don't fall in love with overdrive pedals- I tend to want the distortion a really good tube marshall or vox gives when it's cranked- but this pedal is awesome. It does best when put in front of an amp that's breaking up a little at least, and it definitely is as it says "a full spectrum" boost instead of just the classic mid hump the tube screamer delivers. I have it with an mxr micro amp as a post odr-1 level boost and I am extremely happy. I got compliments from people whose opinions I respect the first time I used it live.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Nobles ODR-1 Overdrive Pedal

One of the best pedals on the market for the price, sounds good with single coil or humbucker pickup guitars. The pedal really enriches the tonal qualities of your guitar when played through a good tube amp. You can leave the pedal on full time for clean boost or use it to color your sound. Check out sound bytes on YouTube. Thanks. Vollständige Rezension lesen

Nobels ODR-1 Overdrive pedal.

Nice, natural OD pedal. Even at higher settings, it sounds convincing, more like an overdriven amp, than a distortion pedal, which is great since I don't like a ton of distortion. I've tried so many and never liked any of the Overdrive pedals I've had over the year, but this one I'm really enjoying. It's got that nice "wshistly" sustain you get from a cranked up amp. Buy this pedal!!

Recently, I put 2 Suhr Michael Landau single coils & a Thornbucker into my '92 Pensa-Suhr and the ODR-1 blends so perfectly with these pickups and my Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue. The tone is just phenomenal. I can turn volume on my guitar down to 5 and it cleans up great, yet has sufficient presence and bite. When it's time for a solo, I switch to the middle pickup and turn the volume to 10 and it just screams without sounding brittle or harsh. They really hit one out of the park with the ODR-1!Vollständige Rezension lesen

You'll like it.

This one acts a little different than most other overdrive pedals. I've always found that the common adjectives that are used to describe pedal sounds can be mundane and repetitive, so let me just say that for the price of this pedal, you won't be disappointed. It's certainly one to keep, maybe even on your board forever. I feel there's no need to spend big money on pedals. There are so many less expensive pedals that do very cool things for you. If I can't find usable sounds in a pedal, then maybe I should just practice more, and listen more carefully. Anyway, buy this.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Great sound, great value.

It sounds great, seems quite touch sensitive and an absolutely great value. I like it much better than a TS-9 tube screamer. The only thing I don't like, which isn't a big deal, is it turns on automatically when you apply power to it. I might get a second one for a back up. If I had bought this sooner, I probably wouldn't have all the overdrive pedals I don't use. I can believe it's not better known. Vollständige Rezension lesen

Warm, organic drive but too much bass.

I read that this is the favorite od of Nashville session players and that it doesn’t lose bass like a Tube Screamer. Well that’s too true in my opinion. It has too much bass and there’s no tightness to the lows. I had to roll the lows off on my amp, which makes my other pedals sound thin. I plan on returning it. BTW, my Route 66 has a bass boost switch on the TS side and sounds awesome with the compressor side on in front of it - and no need to roll the lows off on my amp. Vollständige Rezension lesen

Great Pedal

I purchased this pedal sight unseen. I was going off of the reviews that I read and the YouTube videos that I listened to, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The pedal sounds great (really complements the music I play), and it’s versatile too. It functions great as an overdrive, and it is stellar as a ‘boost’ for solos. Vollständige Rezension lesen

I love this pedal! BUT....

I finally have found the overdrive pedal that works for me. I've tried to Wampler Paisley Drive all the way down to the Danelectro silver Overdrive, and a lot of pedals in between. But, I received one and about three days later received another one. I don't know why this happened and I still haven't checked to see if I was charged twice. But, the pedal is greatVollständige Rezension lesen
