Awesome
The best kit 18-55mm on the market. Sharp. Super fast focus. Super quiet. Light weight. For a kit lens it's a awesome value. Vr is awesome. Get it.

"KIT" lens you say?
Great "kit" lens, sharp, fast and silent focus on D7100 Inexpensive and light weight. Great walk around lens for daytime situations. Get the VR version if needed for low light or hand holding video. It's a good lens. Not a great lens, but for the $ it's fine
IT IS NOT AN AP-S LENS. Only works with newer cameras.
It's a good kit lens. Toss it in a bag and go. It is reasonably wide and zooms well for indoor shooting (it is not a bright lens, so use flash in doors), works well outdoors for scenic shots, zoom is kinda useless for scenic (well just help you frame a shot). Its mostly plastic but whatcha want for the price. Images are sharp enough and it is a very good daylight lens.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Great Beginner DSLR
This is a great beginner DSLR. It's easy to use and takes excellent pictures. I like that it's light and very convenient and when I don't want to haul around my heavier DSLR, this is just the right alternative.

Great value on a superb lens
This lens is smaller than the AF-S lens and lighter. It has manual focus override without having to change a switch. it is easier to focus manually because the focus ring is not up against the zoom ring. The picture quality is at least as good as the AF-S 18-55.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Outstanding lens! :)
First off, I am a truck driver, NOT a photographer, AND am relatively new to big DSLR cameras! LOL :)
I recently went from the Olympus EVOLT cameras, which I plan to keep, to the Nikon D3400, and am super impressed! I initially bought a "previously owned" (USED) D3400 that came with the kit 70-300mm zoom lens only. I also bought a 35mm prime lens for this body.
Out of the three, I am ECSTATIC to have and use this Nikkor AF-P DX 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G Lens!!!! I have only had a chance to shot some test shots in the truck, and am already blown away! I can't wait to get back on the road and go crazy!!!! LOL
I also want to really compare this lens to the 35mm prime, I am not so sure I will need it, except for maybe portraits? Any-who, I plan to buy another of these lenses for my back up D3400, yes, I have 2, maybe 3 D3400's!!!! I agree with other reviews, GET THIS LENS!!!! :)Vollständige Rezension lesen

Nice lens
Good lens, seems quality. Kind of seems hard to focus but when the shot is taken it's in focus.

Great deal on a great product
This is a true Nikon product, and as such, it’s of high quality. I can’t really say anything negative about it. It’s very easy to connect and disconnect to swap with another lens, it’s fairly lightweight and takes very sharp pictures. I’m using it on a D3400 and everything looks great!
