Fun battles, great roster of fighters, simply controls story mode great fun

I played an old Naruto game on the ps2 and have to say this is a massive improvement. I have to also say that I have not played any other Naruto games since that one and I'm glad I got this.
The story mode was fun and not always an easy fight making this game worth the effort you put into it the last one still makes me want to play just because its a funny one. Downside is to short.

The controls are great and simple keeping making the fight more enjoyable instead of frustrating with having to hit the keys at the right time and watching as you apparently didn't, the only down side is you only have limited jutsus to use.

The support characters are event more interesting to use with a hit of the button you call in your team mates to either attack or defend they even can act on their own and save you from an ultimate jutsu.

The amount of fighters is excellent from the all the hokages to sage mode kabuto you can play almost all the characters you know and instead of just giving characters a new outfit to show the progression throughout the story they are a separate fighter allowing you to fight with a multitudes of Narutos and Saskues and a few others and even the introduction of Naruto in Kyubi form was a great addition, can't wait to see the story behind him.

Graphics are a great and make the game fun to play and just run around and make the battles last longer.

There are other modes to play to keep your self busy after story mode but truthfully after you beat story you don't have the urge to go play it often (at least i haven't) still i would recommend this game but probably not for the new game price of 60 dollars.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

My Experiences Of Naruto Ninja Storm Series-This One Is Best..

The story of the Naruto series has been well-explained by this point, most notably in the previous two games. Generations' single-player, story-based component attempts a new approach, opting for well over a half dozen, isolated story lines that gradually unlock as players complete other segments. These concepts eliminate any sort of hub world, instead bridging key battles with quick, effective recaps to set up the next conflict. All of these chapters focus in some way on Naruto Uzumaki and his friend/rival/enemy Sasuke Uchiha, observing each ninja's struggles and triumphs as they clash again and again throughout their lives.Though Naruto is often dismissed as a sort of contemporary Dragon Ball Z, incapable of sacrificing its epic battles to tell an emotionally-driven story, Generations is proof that this assumption is incorrect. Through a combination of anime sequences new and old, as well as static imagery with voice overs, this sprawling, chaotic world is often summed up in a surprisingly poignant way. Fans might fuss over some of the details omitted, but frankly this is one of the better representations of a lengthy series that sometimes forgets how stirring it can be.In terms of gameplay, Ninja Storm Generations is still very much the streamlined arena fighter established in previous installments. With a massive roster of characters spanning the entire Naruto saga, there are plenty of options to enter one-on-one or partner-assisted battles. The biggest changes to gameplay come in the form of a substitution meter, which limits the number of instant escapes all characters have, as well as the Awakening Mode, which becomes a last-ditch grab for power on the part of near-defeated players. Both are welcome ideas, though using a meter to inhibit Substitutions might not be the best approach. In practice, battles tend to stall slightly as players wait for those particular meters to automatically refill. The Generations series isn't known for its slower pace, but being able to evade powerful attacks is so valuable that waiting is often worth it.The Ninja Storm titles have particularly focused on their pick-up-and-play mentality, working with very basic input commands and concepts. No complex commands are necessary, and what combo attacks are available are typically designated to simple directional inputs in the midst of repeatedly hitting one basic attack button. Yet complexity (or a lack thereof) is not the entire measure of quality. Just because Generations doesn't require counting frames or hit boxes doesn't instantly make it inferior - sometimes that is a welcome change.Generations instead focuses on positional strategy as well as a large focus on how players react to an assault.

A very lengthy storyline is somehow streamlined without missing its heart. Not even the anime manages such an immediate, powerful impact sometimes.

Good music can get a bit repetitive. Decent voice work - and the ability for a Japanese language track.

Awesome Roster, Awesome gameplay, This game will not disappoint you!

I'm a fan of the series I can say without a doubt this the best game I've ever played. The campaign matches the storyline of the show, and includes more characters than ever before. I felt like I went back in time and played the Naruto series and then played the Shippuden series. The game also includes Survival mode and Tournament mode where up 8 players can participate. Free battles can be played One-on-One or with support members helping you. Online gameplay is competitive and you can customize your player card and ninja tools however you'd like.
The PSN trophies are fairly easy to collect with the exception of Survival mode trophies which does seem to drag on.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Great game! Worth buying, good fun and rev'd in great condition

I bought this product for my cousin who really likes the show and all and is a big fan. He loves it. I had a go at it myself and obviously didnt compete but it was loads of fun. dislike about the game. story mode was really bad and they could do without the chrakra dash. on top of that they changed the controller buttons...other thin that to easy and lost interest in playing the game.

why did i buy this game... bc i was told it was better thin storm2. would rather play the storm 2 thin the generations.

I bought this product because I already had Naruto 1&2. Also this game " Naruto Generation" is very interesting. My brouther and I already comleted all games history.
