But just reading the book will have little effect; it is recommended that you also attend meetings, get a sponsor, have a conscious contact with a higher power, work the steps, and work with other recovering addicts. Helping Addicts

I try to find these books at a price I can afford to take to addicts new to recovery in rehab facilities that are starting over. It’s a way to give back to the program of NA that saved my life and others. We were in need of this book for treatment and recovery. I was glad to have found it at a reasonable price. The recovery stores ask way too much, and it is nice to reuse such items.
