Excellent router, UI meh

The UI on the ASUS router management pages (for example, RT-AC68U) is nicer. Maybe I'll install some 3rd-party firmware. Otherwise, AWESOME. Fast, great range and easy to set up.

Good Router for the value

My previous router was only 750mb and could not support all of the electronics in my home. I was having difficulty with Netflix pausing and stopping all together, then I lost all WIFI due to router failure. I decided to upgrade to this router and it works great. I now own two

I now own two. Since I liked the first one so much, I bought another for my second home. I can't give a "technical review," so all I can say is that the router was very easy to set up, and I receive great reception all over my property. The value improved since I bought on Ebay and saved quite a bit over amazon prime. I received it in a matter of days. Very satisfied. A good buy

Work great and easy to install. No issues so far. Like the fact that you can combine the 2.5Mhz and 5Mhs in a auto mode so that the most efficient would be the one used for your device.

"Recommendations prove to be true"

I googled best router for iMacs. The Netgear Nighthawk 96 was in the top three, and usually the top recommendation, from all sites. It was a little more expensive than routers I had purchased in the past, but I decided to pay attention to the recommendations and purchase the Nighthawk. It looks like it came from outer space in appearance, but perhaps that is a good thing. Maybe it can beam home all the signals I need.
It was easy to install for I'm not a technician. It has worked like a charm since installation, and I am convinced, even though it has only been in service about a week, that it was a good choice and will give me good service for a long time.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Netgear R7000P great Router with wonderful features.

This router works as advertised. I espacially like the 2.5 and 5 Ghz having 1 SSID feature.

Necessary upgrade

We had an old Linksys router working we bought years ago teamed with the cheap cable modem provided by Spectrum. After switching to streaming services for TV, my teenagers gaming, and a household filling with smart devices, we were experiencing significant problems with our WiFi performance. After upgrading our modem to an Arris Surfboard, and then adding this router, we have had almost no noticeable lags. My kids are thrilled with the performance of their games, and streaming services are crystal clear with no buffering interruptions. The QoS setting made an amazing difference, and the router was very easy to set up. Overall, we couldn’t be happier, and feel like we are set for a couple of years while saving money at the same time. It worked after a factory reset and firmware update. If I were not an engineer a normal person would have returned it. It has good dual band radios. And it supports VPN networks.

Increased range and speed

The box was missing installation guide, however the website has an app and youtube had all the information I needed to get my router up and running. Increased range and speed of connecting devices.
