Please read this about R6220 router
Please notice that Netgear router R6220 needs Firmware update, but they will NOT auto update and all you need get download Firmware update to Version 1.1.0.86 (manual update in login the router). this should be fine working router will stay connection network. just type "Netgear download" in search site.

AC1200 is working great.
The router was exactly like a brand new router. The setup was seamless and easy and has been helping me work from home. It has also kept up with the family's streaming requirements. I am about 50' away from the router going thru several walls and have not had an issue.
