A must see:

About 6 years ago I read Mystic River, the novel, by Dennis Lehane and loved it! I was hoping they would make a movie of it, and about a year later Mystic River was in theaters. The movie is exactly like the book! The storyline, the suspense and drama, the plot... Everything about this movie is excellent! Clint Eastwood has a real masterpiece in Mystic River! The acting was impressive! I expected it to have good acting with so many big name actors (Tim Robbins, Kevin Bacon, Sean Penn, etc...) but they went far beyond my expectations. Even the people that acted in this movie that you've never heard of before were excellent! I would recommend buying or renting the book and reading it first, and after you finish it, watch the movie. Dennis Lehane's novel is outstanding, and if you read it first, you'll like the movie even more. I give this movie 5 stars! It's one of my all time favorites!Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Powerful movie from a small neighborhoood
