Mystery Road, one of the great films coming out of Australia
One of the best Australian made films to come out in 2014 and later. It was so well-received, it became a series. Aaron Pedersen as the indigenous detective does a superb job showing the ongoing roadblocks placed in the way of indigenous peoples in Australia. Pedersen is probably one of the top ten Australian actors. Fine actors Hugo Weaving and Jack Thompson join the cast, directed by Ivan Sen.
I highly recommend this engrossing film and its authentic look at the Australian Outback and its second-class indigenous citizens, crying out for a fair deal.

Prerequisite to the series.
Really good introduction to the following Mystery Road series. You get familiar with the leading man and cast and the plot is good.

"Slightly damaged,but interesting movie"
Movie arrived slightly damaged, i.e. with a considerable scratch/blemish in the middle, which causes a brief "hiccup"/stoppage!
