This is film I saw at the theater when it first came out decades ago, and it's stuck with me ever since. I was glad to see that there was a Criterion release available, and it did not disappoint. This is a fascinating recreation of a real-life encounter between two men who worked with each other in professional theater but have not conversed in years.
