Worth waiting for.
The photography is beautiful. The stunts are amazing. The battle scenes are realistic, yet suitable for children over twelve. Chinese culture and customs are depicted in a completely understandable way for people born in the West. Mulan is completely believable and authentic. The way she passes herself off as a man and wins the friendship and support of her male colleagues in the Emperor's army is told with great sensitivity. The way she excels in training above her male colleagues is believable. The plot is crystal clear. I did not want this film to end.
I first saw trailers for this film before Covid. I don't usually like Disney when they remake cartoons as real life films. This is the exception. It is much, much better than the animated feature.Vollständige Rezension lesen

SOMETHING UNEXPECTED, ENGROSSING AND EXCITING
THIS STORY IS SO GOOD IT DOES NOT NEED ANY FAMOUS ACTORS TO BRING IT TO LIFE. IT IS WELL WORTH WATCHING AND LEARNING SOMETHING FROM A DISTANT COUNTRY.THE CHARACTERS ARE ALL BELIEVABLE.

Found the film to be a little average seemed a bit clunky as the story wasn't smooth but just my opinion others may love the film.
