Fun but difficult for a 7 year old

I bought this for my 7 year old boy. He loves the game but finds it a little difficult. He has not passed level one, but he still enjoys it. This was bought for a 13 year old boy who is always gamming. He told me that the game is difficult and the directions are hard to underatand. I got the same results from some older boys as well.
