Motion Pro - 08-0017 - Valve Shim Tool

Works perfectly, first time every time

I've never used a tool like this before since this is the first time I've adjusted valve lash on a motorcycle. I watched a couple You Tube videos on how to use the shim tool, and it worked exactly as I expected it to. Some people have issues with it slipping off the cup, but this never happened to me. I kept slight pressure inward as I pushed down on the handle which kept the tool ledge on the cup. It makes the job of removing and replacing shims very easy and fast. These made in Taiwan tools do not function like the originals i.e they will slip when attempting to lock the shim bucket in the open position.
