great piece of equipment to own. It's semi-modular meaning that you don't have to patch a drone to get a sound out of it. Has a built-in sequencer that doubles as a keyboard so you don't need a midi keyboard. However if you want to use a midi keyboard you can with a 5 pin midi cable. Also, it has a built on 24db low pass/high pass filter which is rare on a modular synth. I could go on and on but its worth every penny if your thinking about going modular. Modular Mayhem!

If you are looking to get into modular or you have a midi keyboard you'd like to hook to this thing, it's one of the greatest mini synths out there. You don't REALLY need two or three to get cool things done like a lot of people say. Just one of these makes a great mobile, standalone synth or a fantastic expander for an existing keyboard.

You can honest get more experimental craziness from a Mother 32 than I think you could from a Sub-37 at a third of the price.

These are also light and portable. The one issue I have with it is that it has no on/off switch. Other than that, it's an amazing machine!

If you want to make pretty music, buy a keyboard. If you want to make experimental industrial heaps of abstract noise, get yourself a Mother-32. They can be very musical too, but these are much better at screaming than singing, in my opinion! Vollständige Rezension lesen

Good Things Come In Small Moogs.

As a person with more than 25 years experience with synthesizers I can honestly say, this is a very flexible sound machine that has many surprises and so much more capability than advertised.
