Mommie Dearest book well worth it
Have been kind of following the career of Joan Crawford. Saw the movie Mommie Dearest made from the book of the same name by Christina Crawford. Big fan of the movie What Every Happened To Baby Jane ? Then came Fued: Bette and Joan, the miniseries. So much to digest. Often when I like something in the media form, I will go back and read the book. Bought this Mommie Dearest hardcover and trading it has been great, more detail and fascinating. Snide, but appropriate.
I do not necessarily like these. Tell it all Hollywood books. I am reading it as a comparison to, “I’m glad my mom died” by Jennette McCurdy, which we will be discussing in my book club.
