TobyMac - Momentum =-Definitely a must-=

most cd's you buy the artists will either have that same sound all the way through the cd, or they will have that couple songs you like and then a bunch of songs that you arent really into. I found on this cd that it was totally different, it didnt sound the same all the way through but rather he changed the style a little more and more each song, giving that "wow, this is a cool cd" kind of feel. The former DCTALK artist brought out that style which drove DCTALK to become a popular band. Unlike Tait, and Kevin Smith, this album out of all of the SOLO projects ended up being the best one, keeping the message, keeping the style, and still keeping that DCTALK kind of touch to it. Everyone that i know that has gotten into TobyMac's solo albums have liked every single one of them. No rap for me!

I should have read the products details on this cd a little better. Just love Toby Mac's music he performs now, not the rap from years ago. That being said, it was still at a good price.

TobyMac delivers!

I actually bought this CD for my wife (she's a BIG DC Talk fan), but have found that I just love it! Of the three DC Talk members solo projects, this one definitely sounds most like them. It's got all the funky/groovy sounds I've come to expect from the boys, plus the added grunge rock influence of Pete Stewart and his awesome guitar/producing work. Highly polished mainstream pop-rock-funk thats fun for the whole family! And as always the focus and point of the songs are uplifting and spiritually right on! Great CD with all of TobyMac's sound in it!

Great Cd with a diverse line-up of songs. With rock songs like Yours, Extreme Days, Whats Going Down, and Get This Party Started. And Hip Hop songs like Momentum, J Train, and Love is in the House. Along with many other lesser known TobyMac songs that are really hits, and not just there to fill album space. Would recommend to most music lovers!Vollständige Rezension lesen...

J Train

I bought this cd for one song: J Train. It's awesome! Makes you want to dance and move while praising God! Everyone needs to here this song. I love to listen to it on my MP3 player while I'm walking.

Not Toby's Best Work
