Mod 8EB3C1B Reverb Tank Musical Instruments

Great unit

My red Texas Heat Blues Jr was very lacking in reverb. I took a chance and got the MOD replacement long decay. I ran the Stock Accutronics unit wide open and was still not happy with the reverb.
I bought the MOD unit and plugged it in and couldn’t believe how rich and luscious the reverb was. It was so good I had to turn it to 5, with the original I was at 12 and still not happy. I am not a player who like to be drenched in reverb, but to like an even reasonable amount as part of my sound.

MOD reverb tank

This 3 spring reverb tank was a perfect replacement for my broken Fender reverb tank. Mounting hole spacing was a little different but really not an issue. Sounds good!

Surf's Up with Mod 3 spring long decay reverb.

I had to wrap the tank to eliminate a slightly harsh sounding tone. This is not at all uncommon with a combo amp so it was not a surprise or a big chore since I am a bit of a guitar nerd! It sounds like Surfs Up!Vollständige Rezension lesen
