Misery... It's exactly what Paul Sheldon (James Caan) had to endure in order to survive
I read and watched the book/film many years ago and on buying it to watch now, it was - if at all possible - even better second tie round. Very engrossing; great story and brilliantly acted.

Misery - full of suspense and a bit scary!
Absolutely gripping from start to finish! Only two main characters and both are brilliant actors. Not really for the faint hearted but the film is rated 18, so it is to be expected. A bit dated now but still well worth watching.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Enjoyed watching it again actors are brilliant, excellent quality I would definitely recommend 😊 one of my old time favourite.

Brilliant
I bought the DVD having raced through the book. The book is certainly better, but the movie is brilliantly cast and captures the suspense of the original story.

Drama and suspence right through.

Great classic film.
The so called caring nurse is keeping her patient prisoner he tries to escape so she smashes his ankles in with block of wood and an hammer the well known classic part of the film. Well worth buying
