Fun Stuff From The 70's!
Middle Of The Road was a European bubblegum act that were active from the late 60's through the mid 70's. While they had a successful run in Europe, Asia, etc, they were less well known in the US. That's a pity because their records were well-made with big sing along choruses, booming drums and great guitar hooks. Early power pop. As bubblegum was music marketed to a younger demographic, most of this isn't terribly serious. That's OK, it's catchy. It would be hard to listen to this and not be smiling and singing along. 70s pop-tastic memories .
Loved their singles and am old enough to remember them 1st time round ! . So seeing this 'Best Of' at a great price i gave it a go , brought back memories of my early teens . The best band from Scotland
Great album with all tracks a pleasure to listen to - including those that didn’t make the hit parade. Music from the early 1970s on a par with the 1960s.
