Great fun and lots of laughs

I really liked this movie, mainly due to all the sarcasm and irony throughout, but I also liked it because I enjoy stories about the underdog coming out on top in the end. It has a positive message and kept my family and myself laughing through the whole thing. I love Dreamworks animation films because of all the blatant sarcasm, almost to the point of not being appropriate for or understood by kids, but since I am a big kid, I love that I can still watch cartoons that aren't always super cheesy. I saw this one in the movie theater with my daughter and I knew it would end up in my DVD collection. I'm happy I bought it and i highly recommend it!Vollständige Rezension lesen...

My favorite kids movie of all time

I love this movie it's one of my all time favorites. If you want a change from all the Disney movies this is the movie for you. Funny, good story line, fun for the whole family.

Awesome Movie!! Great value!!

We saw the movie in the theaters, GREAT FLICK!!! Had to get it because we kept renting the movie from the library.
The action, the jokes and the romance made the movie great.
The wanna-be good kid got bumped into prison when came from outer space from his home planet, he turns bad and then turns good to save Metrocity and the girl. The music score is awesome and timed with the movie very well.
This movie can't compare to the others of it's kind.
Megamind is well written, scripted and used highly talented actors and actresses for great performances.

Funny spoof on the Superhero genre.

Even though the younger generation probably won't get the references to Marlon Brando in Superman: The Movie, Megamind stands on it's own. It has funniness and maybe a little bit of psychology. But there was no action figure for the normal people in the movie as far as I know. A little disappointed in the marketing. It was better then I expectted

I ordered it for my granddaughter and didn't think it was my kind of movie but it ended up being a cute movie.

5 Stars all the way!!!!!

A must own animated movie! We missed this movie when it came out in theaters. So we decided to buy it for our boys...Wow the parents loved it too! The story line is so well done. Megamind's "minion" is a hysterical character and one of our favorites...besides Megamind of course!! It shows a good lesson...Good vs Evil. Megamind is suppose to be the Evil character...and realizes that he really doesn't like Evil when he finally see's someone else being Evil. He decides to "fix it" with some fancy powers that he has!
