Masterpiece Theater has done it again! :)
Although some events portrayed in this series may be a bit more embellishment than truth, it's done so well, it matters little. This is an intimate peek into one of the greatest love stories ever. It portrays the enormous strain Queen Victoria endured very well. Being the ruler of a nation, a loving wife, a doting mother while maintaining as much sanity as possible. The series of episodes shows the love, the fiery passion, the discourse between Victoria with her "angel" as she referred to Albert as. The difficult political maneuvers, she navigated so well. Victoria Season 2 doesn't disappoint!
This is a wonderfully well done series, much better than anything else on the subject & the actors were perfectly cast, especially Victoria & Albert. They took "poetic license" but did not totally distort the true history. Its very entertaining, easy on the ears & eyes, beautifully costumed and spectacular horses and set. Cone on America: Where is our Digity!
Victoria Season 2 is well written and actors and actress's are excellent in the series. The British have the most in entertainment and this is based on truth and history. I wish American Television would wake up and put out better programs to entertain instead of the crape put out today. The only thng worth watching is the old shows of yesteryear that has good clean comedy and leave a wonderful message that gives a feeling of warmth and a feeling that goodness once entered our living rooms. The world hasn't changed it's the people in it and the light in which they live in.Some of the worst things on Television is the commercials that are a American put down that make Americans appear like they are only important are worth something if they buy t an appropiate product the latest thing. When is america going to wake up and say I've had enough of the twisted minds of companys making good people in America uncomfortable in what we recieve on our televisions in our homes. Great light weight and nicely designed.
I enjoy great movies, that have a great storyline that continues to the next story to come, to keep you wanting to see the next movie or season, and when it’s that good I buy all the seasons, to complete the story and to see how it ends. And these seasons of Victoria are great.

Thank you for selling this outstanding DVD. This is history that really caught my attention. I can't wait till this arrives at my door. I am learning on what a wonderful and kind Queen she was, and how strong she had to become at an early age. Her family also meant so much to her. What an era to live in. Keeps getting better
This reminds me of Downton Abbey and a little of Poldark. The first couple episodes weren't my favorite, but they keep getting better and more interesting as her experience, wisdom, and relationships grow. Stick with it as she grows up thru season 1!Vollständige Rezension lesen

Wonderful and enjoyable.

I love season 11 as I did season 1. The history, the costumes, the settings are all fantastic. Also a great love story! LOOKING forward to season 111.

Not exactly as expected!
Although I was glad to get this Season 2 DVD set, I was very disappointed to note that there were parts shown on the tv series that were not included in this dvd set.
