Happy Fish
I have a baby girl Betta and she has been far more active now that the water temperature level is more suited to her species. I have been using a timer with it as I am a little nervous about it getting too hot. I have been keeping a close eye and it seems she is happy anywhere from 75 - 80 degrees which I am working on managing via the timer. I did notice that when we were colder in the room and used a heater the tank heater did not adjust and balance (lack of an internal thermostat I guess) and so the water did reach 86 which she then seemed as lethargic as she had at 69 degrees. If you don't have the time or patience to deal with these sort of fluctuations there are small tank thermometers with internal thermostats set for about 77 degrees from what I have found. Very satisfied with my purchase
I am so happy that I chose this aquarium heater. I have two aquariums. My first aquarium is a two gallon size aquarium, with guppies and snails. My second aquarium is a mini desktop that I put my baby guppies in until they're a nice size to put back with the other guppy fish. So the baby guppies will not be eaten by the bigger guppy fish. Back to the heater. It's a nice size to fit inside my mini aquarium. Not taking up a lot of space. It took maybe two hours to heat up the water. I don't think that the heater can be adjusted or not. Good Small Tank Heater
I bought this for my 2 gal Betta tank. It holds the water temperature solidly in the ideal range for my Betta. It is small and the LED active light is not too bright and functional. I would recommend this heater for any small tank.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

marina betta heater
this is a nice, compact heater that works great in a smaller aquarium. I like the thermostat control that is preset at 78* F, keeps my bettas warm and happy!

Gets too hot for a small tank. Seems to be good quality other than that.
This is designed to be a heater for a small Betta bowl it heated much too well. I bought it for my office Betta. it got up to 80 while I was in the office and would have been fine +- a couple degrees. But, overnight it got into the high 80's. Betta Loves It
My little desk Betta LOVES his little heater. He's more active now that his water is warm, he's a happy fishy. I would highly recommend adding the Marina Betta Submersible Heater!

not good for me. but works well
It may be a good temp for a beta but too hot for other. its sitting at 82 and the light is still on so i assume its still heating. i only got it because i have a small 2.5 gal tank and i didnt want a big ugly heater in the way. im just going to have to get one of those ugly tube glass ones so it stays more like 78.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

PERFECT FOR SMALL AQUARIUM
I was a little worried to put any heater in my aquarium because I worry about over heating. But because I keep a cool house in the winter I needed to do something for my sweet betta fish. I was very happy to see how small and compact the heater was when I got it and tried it in his tank. He was so happy to get the warmth he spent a whole day literally sitting on top of it. He now swims around so happy and warm. I check the water every day and the water is just PERFECT! Simple design but works well
It works for heating small volumes of water. Keeps things nice and warm. It is constant on so I have mine on a timer to reduce the risk of overheating. Be very careful when using ..
Following the instructions to the letter this heater should be tested first. My poor Betta fish developed a bad infection a few days after I installed this heater. His dorsal fin was chopped down, the tail was terrible looking and he just looked bad. Thank God I bought BettaFix awhile ago. Treated him for 7 days and he is looking ok.
Don't know what went wrong but I won't ever use a submersible heater that I can't see what the temperature of the water is...!
