Hurst products are well known to be the best over decades of product availability, but they are decreasing in quality. The last boot I bought about 5 years ago was of better quality,thicker rubber,larger and heavier chrome trim. Flat from storage

Boot was stored for must have been a long time with something heavy on it. The boot rubber was totally squashed flat. The protective film for the chrome trim piece was very dried out and stuck to the metal. I needed it to complete the installation and used tie straps on the shifter handle to stretch out the boot. A good finish for Hurst Shifter.

The quality is average. It does work to finish the boot area for my 66 Mustang with a Hurst Comp. Plus shifter.

The perfect boot for the perfect shifter!

Perfect boot for the Hurst Competition Plus Shifter and rods I have. It also gives the "old school" look I am looking for that matches the shifter.

Add height to the measurements. Will not cover t5 transmission. Otherwise would be great.
