Fantastic quality product, used it to construct a garden shed, which was made so easy with this Makita drill / driver. So glad I chose this particular one, as others from other manufacturer's were nowhere near as good. It is the best drill and hammer and screwdriver unit I have bought it is light weight and has a better torque setting than I have used before yours Martin

Yes , best I’ve used, comfortable to use. Great for all work where space , limited, etc. But As I’ve already pointed Expected it to come with battery, as it was described In description, said li lion battery. I did not misread this, and so I had to purchase , from yourselfs a battery & charger, as you can probably see, from my acc. I probably would have seen the complete unit & charger cheaper Since obtaining mine. But I cannot fault the items they’re great. very good for an entry level drill by makita . feels good in your hand and light enough to do most diy jobs . im on the look out for a more powerful makita to work alongside the smaller one which im running 3ah and going for a 5ah in the larger one . looks and feels well made recommended .Vollständige Rezension lesen

the drill is good quality with good torque,I chose to buy a 2ah battery as i did not want the weight of a longer charge unit.

"Your question" Your glad to hear the product is better than I expected is an assumption on your part. It is exactly what I expected from the renowned name of Makita.

OK there are better drills out there but at considerably increased cost but Makita are built and priced at the serious DIYer and the Professional person and this drill suits me down to the ground.

It's a great lightweight and serious bit of kit,this is my third Makita drill in the same range all operating on a daily basis and give good service.

Excellent value

Already had a makita 18v battery, so when i needed a new combi drill, the decision to get this was a no brainer. Its got good features and enough torque to remove the most stubborn of screws.
