can you afford not to have one.
Best flashlight I know of to carry around. I'm a custodian and walk the grounds nightly I get around 2 1/2 hours on new battery's which is quit good considering how bright the flashlight is. You can light up a 40' area. I carry it all day and use it numerous times daily. I never leave home without it. By the way they make great small friend Christmas gifts, stocking stuffers etc. That's why I bought 12 of them. Everyone can use one , if you don't need to carry one on your belt as I do they also fit very nicely in a glove box or on a night stand by the bed. Love these things. Vollständige Rezension lesen

Good if you know what faults to correct.
I grew up around these things back when halogen and xenon bulbs were first coming out. I have to say that over the years, Mag Instrument has failed to address certain fundamental issues with several of their products.
However, since we know what a few of those issues are, we can correct then at home and have a very reliable, durable flashlight.
First is their absolute insistence of using finish on the threads of the small end cap and the internal threads of the cylindrical battery housing. Remove it yourself or buy the bright silver color because it lacks any finish. The Flag Lite also lacks finish in these areas. Removing that finish allows greater electrical contact surface and won't cause the light to go out when the end cap isn't super tight.
Second, the LED modules do wear out over time. That has to be addressed at the factory unless you remove and replace the entire thing. Using the light in "candle" mode can result in physical damage to the module, so avoid that.
It's a five star light if you're handy with mods and like it with no frills, otherwise, three stars so you might be better off with a different brand.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Super bright!!
Super bright in a small durable aluminum casing. Add some good quality lithium batteries and you have all the light you could need.

Spotlight deer in a field!!
The best mini Mag lite I have owned. I have literally spotlighted deer in a field with it.
You trade battery life for great brightness. Keep spare batteries handy.

Maglite
My old light is a mini maglite equipped with the nite ize 2W led and smart switch. The Maglte Pro is as bright as the Atomic Beam on tv, but it's really TOO bright for the general utility stuff I use my light for.
I ended up putting the mini Mag Lite Pro with my outdoor gear, because it will make daytime anywhere you go., and works great as a tactical light.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Simple Bright Light
I love MagLite flashlights! Accept No Substitute! These are a great small light (with plenty of light @ 272 lumens) thats really nice & bright - just a nice plain light + uses 2 AA batteries. Bright and virtually indestructible.
This thing is bright and virtually indestructible. The only reason I buy them is that I LOSE them! I don't think I've ever BROKEN one, though I've had a couple damaged by leaking batteries. Great light!
Great little flashlight, led is very bright. I replaced a much older one (not led), for use on nightstand and around the house. All mag lite products are fantastic and def good quality.

Only 1 level of light.
This particular model only has On or Off. The previous Maglight I had had bright, dim and SOS.
This model is extremely bright but is lacking those features.

Maglite great product
I have always bought MAGLITE and have been happy with them I wish that they would bring back the 3AA battery LED flashlight it works better with the ni-cad battery than the 2AA battery one does
