Why Not Widescreen?

Sprawling western adventure with a great cast. Effects are somewhat dated after half a century, but still solid storytelling. And a wonderful score by Quincy Jones. great western , where else can you see tv stars Lerch, catwoman , the penguin & kojack in one film & peck was always great love this movie

Old Favorite

Good chemistry between Peck and Sharif with an ample assist
from a star studded cast.

I remember watching this as a young teen kid.
Developed an instant crush on the damsel in
distress Camila Sparv.

Actually that might be why I liked this

Enjoyable story line with a bunch of REAL actors and no “s” or “f” words splattered all through the movie!

An excellent old-school 1969 western.

While the shaky bridge at the beginning plus the canyon collapse at the end were obvious models, considering it was circa 1969, it all came out very well. I could not find the copy I had and liked it so well that I replaced it with this one.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Gold fever!

Saw this movie when 1st came out at drive in. Me being deaf enjoyed it more with subtitles or captions. Great movie for family viewing.
