MOOER Mds5 Solo Guitar Distortion Effects Pedal

I almost really liked it.

This pedal would have a great sound if it weren't so noisy. lol, I would recommend using a noise reduction pedal w/ this which I don't have. Maybe it's the amount of distortion on tap. I only use it w/ the gain halfway up. The three settings on the toggle are noticeable. I like the Natural and Classic settings the best. Solid build. Very good value, small footprint.

Excellent value IMO. Relatively quiet for analog high gain dirt pedal. Nice tone.

sleeper pedal for bass

It's not marketed as a bass pedal, but... It is surprisingly effective for a lead-guitar-ish sound with the bass. I've tried a bunch of distortion and fuzz pedals, and think that this one is more balanced and natural sounding than many out there. It does killer harmonics without going over the top. It sings on the high strings, and power chords sound massive. On the 5-string descending below G it starts to get a little synthy sounding, but not necessarily in a bad way.Vollständige Rezension lesen
