Revised old school RPG
Ah the lunar series, another set of games I wanted to play when I was young, but was never able to. This is actually a remake of Lunar Silver Star Story that was released on the PS1 but with some dialogue changes, scene changes, and an overall easier game. However some things were made a bit harder in particular certain challenges were made far more vague (I'm personally stuck like 4 rooms from the final boss cause the game didn't reveal a puzzle's answer in any way like it did in the original).
But overall this game is far easier than the original, the original had a rather brutal difficulty curve, where as this one is far easier. One of the biggest improvements is a far larger variety of obtainable equipment. The original had very few weapons and armor, and this game vastly changes that. Some of the stuff you can find makes you feel quite powerful. But overall I highly recommend.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Good game for enthusiastic fans, not so much for first time players.
The Lunar series has been one of those little JRPGs gems that appear from time to time; with heartwariming stories, simple and effective character design and good music these games have generated a cult following for almost 20 years.
Lunar Legend is a remake of the classic Lunar: Silver Star for the Sega Cd and Playstation systems. It could be a great game with lovely sprite art and great control, it has however 2 major flaws:
1.- Lack of voice acting and animation: Due to limitation of the cartdrige the classic sequences and voices were omitted.
2.- It's way too easy: Sure this series has never been difficult but this version is absurd. it's almost impossible to die.
Overall if you're looking for a good Lunar remake, try Lunar: Silver Star Harmony for the PSP, the GBA version could please fans but it's not recomendable for first time players in the Lunar series.Vollständige Rezension lesen...
Very good looking remake of SEGA-CD installment.
This pixel art is awesome. In first glance it's a easy, action jRpg but it's more like Golden Sun or Final Fantasy that simple action rpg. And again - visuals in this game are top notch!

I LOVED this game as a kid, and its everything I rembered! Now my kids are playing it and the story line is just fun!

Lunar Legend
I like the Playstation version but this is garbage. I hate when game makers take and chop a good game just so the game fits into a tiny cartidge. I mindessly went through the story, not dying once. A lot of the dialog was taken out and cartoon clips taken down to one still frame cel.
The only plus to this game is that it passes time on the bus; will it beats looking out the window to endless mountains, barly. The graphics are the only plus to this game. I just wish they didn't take so much content out of it.Vollständige Rezension lesen...
