Easy to use -- for the non-technical among us!
This is really easy to use. Even though I was not able to perform a formal calibration, the instructions noted that the new product arrives already calibrated. I wanted to measure noise level of certain appliances in the house and this really did the job for me. Excellent SPL unit for understanding noise levels.

Good value for rough measurements
it registers about 30 Dba in ambient no noise environment. Hard to calibrate without a calibrated sound source. Other wise its easy to use and captures high and lowest values.

Protect your hearing from rock concert church services.

Nice meter!!!!!
This Digital Sound Pressure Decibel Noise Meter works great. I have had it for along time and it continues to perform well. I don't use it every day, however, I do consider it to be a valuable part of my testing equipment. It may not be as accurate as a high dollar meter, but it works great for my use.
The only negative thing I could mention is how easy the meter is to turn on. Placing the meter in a pocket can turn the meter on and run down the batteries. That has happened to me. So now I keep it in a small custom built case.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Reasonable price, Good product
Appears to work as advertised. Have nothing to compare exactly how accurate it is but seems to follow the basic chart of sounds(noise) dB levels associated with various activities or machinery.

cheap enough that you can finally get one
this is equivalent a $120 dollar tool at the industrial supply house. has the same basic features at 1/6th the price. Even comes with batteries.
