When Lost aired, I was one of the many who didn't care much for the ending. So, I had all seasons on disk except the last. Rewatching the series now put a lot of things in story perpective, including the ending. Owning the sixth season now is necessary. Riddles Wrapped In Mysteries Hidden Inside Enigmas! (paraphrasing Churchill)

One of the most enigmatic series ever done. Slowly but surely peeling away layer after layer of lies, deceit, and skullduggery all in the name of Einstein and space time but surely one of the most engaging television events of all time.

The characters are drawn with care and the beginning is one of the hallmarks of television writing and the fact that the quality is consistently kept up for the whole six years is amazing. Only Rod Serling and the Twilight Zone can compare, with the big difference being that Twilight Zone stories were stand alone episodes and Lost is a serialized story stretching out over six seasons.

A plane crashes, people are stranded on an island, and at first only survival matters, then things begin to happen.
I wouldn't spoil the fun of enjoying this from the very beginning without hint of further developments so I won't go into the story itself.

Let me address the set itself. The quality of the show on blu-ray is stunning. The prices on Ebay for the whole series in blu-ray (the only way to go to see and hear it right) are a steal. A great way to wind up a great series.
