The remote is great! The build quality is excelent and usage is super-easy. Both me and my wife use it without a problem. programming is also very easy, with the PC app sync, although I wish there was more flexability in the options. It even controls my AC!

Logitech Harmony 650 remote is terrific

Logitech recently discontinued the Harmony remote products, but eBay to the rescue! This is a great remote -- it's easy to select your devices and set up "activities". It's also a "learning" remote, so you can teach it any devices it doesn't already know (and it has a -huge- database available). It had the Options key for my TV wrong, and I was able to re-learn it in less than a minute. Uses a standard micro-USB cable, software is on their site. It worked out of the box.

The remote works fine. I bought two others of these and, as common with older remotes of this type, the buttons on either side of the screen and sometimes the "all off" button will be "worn out," as well. Not this remote! It worked correctly right away and all of the buttons work. I'm using it in place of an older similar model.

Replacement Harmony 650 remote.

This Harmony 650 remote came sooner than expected and it looks like it is brand new. This remote is replacing a heavily used Harmony 650, that was working ok, but a lot of the button markings have worn off. I used the programing from Logitech, that I used to program the old remote, to program the new remote, and 30 seconds later it was good to go. Great Product !!

I don't know why I didn't buy this a lot earlier ! It was so simple, easy, and painless to set up ! Harmony had all of my devices so it was a matter of a few clicks to set up the different modes of operations !! You won't go wrong buying the Harmony 650 and getting rid of " remote clutter " .

Works Great!

It does everything as claimed, and seems to have very device known to man in it's setup database.
You will need a Windows computer with a USB port.
Also make sure you have the correct model number for all devices you program.
It strikes me that the infared is very strong as it works at long range.

Great remote

I have a number of remotes for all my equipment, and who doesn't these days. It has let me store them all and remove the batteries so they don't go bad inside the equipment.

The price was wonderful. The remote was well packaged and arrived problem free.

The replacement

I bought this remote to replacement the remote for my Samsung sound bar (which I thought I lost but later found), and Samsung tv. Excellent remote

So, there really aren't many universal remotes on the market now, at least in an affordable range. I've used the 650 for years and love the remote however, the buttons can stop functioning as the remote ages. They do make kits to refurbish the remote that are really easy (and cheap) to install. I purchased this one used, it was in excellent condition and then applied the refurbishing kit. The website to download the programing software is pretty easy to use. For roughly $80 (includes kit) I have a like new universal remote - can't beat that. Note, dropping the remote can cause it to miss function but just remove a battery for 20-30 seconds - allow to reset and it should work fine.
