TOO Big & To Stiff

This tool would be a lot more effective and useful if it was smaller and made of a flexible rubber-like material. As it is, you need at least a foot of STRAIGHT track to set it down in PLUS more straight track for the length of the cars you want to re-rail. I can only use it for ONE CAR and only in one place on my set-up that has a longe enough section of straight track. I purchased 4 o these to set around the layout so as not to have to be continuously reaching and grabbing to get one for each derailment.
Most of the time, it's just as easy to re-rail by hand, which is VERY TEDIOUS AND SELF-DEFEATING.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Keeps you on track.

O scale trains are a pain to put on the track. Every time you try to put a train on the tracks especially locomotives, you get one wheelset on the tracks and the others derail. This thing makes it so easy putting your Lionel trains on the tracks. This thing sits securely on the tracks(O-31, O-27, Fast track or EZ track). Definitley reduces the aggravation

This is a great product that really saves the aggravation for a once a year (Christmas time) model train person. My 1950's era Lionel 027 gauge train cars slip effortlessly onto the track with the aid of my Fastrack railer. Well worth the price.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Makes getting new cars on the track much easier

Its a nice track guide for lining up your cars on fasttrack or O gauge.
But being 62 years old I think its over priced at $10

Lionel does a rare misstep.

Better than nothing but it would be nice to have a product that could be permanently part of the track layout, as some models are.
