Seems fine, but might not be Lenovo branded
It came promptly, and was immediately recognized by my Lenovo T510 and worked. I haven't attempted to use BluRay disc, but it certainly worked fine with a regular one. The listed says the brand is Lenovo, but the drive does not itself have any indication on it that it is a Lenovo product. It does say it was made in 2010 by Hitachi. Of course, that might be true of a Lenovo drive. There was no factory packaging to identify the brand. It could be new, but it might not be also. Either way, it works fine and seemed in excellent condition. It solved my problem and I'm happy with the purchase. ( My original drive would not stay closed, and did not work reliably.)
As the listing suggested might be the case, I had to remove the face plate and replace it with the faceplate taken off of my original drive. That was no problem, easy to do, but it would have been a problem if I didn't have that original faceplate.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Excellent Blu-ray replacement
Very difficult to find, this replacement Blu-ray drive for my Idea-Pad was easy to fit and works very well.

this is a definite yes if your Lenovo W510 is needing an upgrade. Its like taking your i5 and making it new again. The smooth quiet drive is just what the Dr. ordered. Plus enjoy the Blue Ray experience with High Definition and quality performance. Some have suggested that Blu-Ray is out. This is a matter of opinion. Many hours to come of quality movie watching. Excellent drive
Easy to install in my Lenovo y510p. Just transferred the parts off the old drive to the new drive, slid the new drive in and it worked.
