Good value burner Optical Drive
This unit installs easily on Windows with the disk provided, and runs very well. All my previous optical drives were a bit noisey whatever they played however the LG GH24NSD1 is very quiet almost silent playing videos or movies but winds up some noise playing photos or pics, a bit strange but actually the right way around, you don`t want noise when watching vids or movies but with Pics or photos it dosn`t matter. I lost access to my DVD drive when I upg...
I lost access to my DVD drive when I upgraded to windows 10. Assuming it was something to do with the drive, I bought this one and although it works great and is fantastic condition, I had to modify a few commands to get it to work, making me think it wasn't the drive all along. for people who buy this who may not be completely pc savvy... if you have a SSD instead of an older style HDD you will need to buy a SATA cable.
