LEGO CREATOR: Propeller Plane (31047)

Great plane! Love it.

Absolutely love it. Building it took me back to my preteen years cobbling together any plane that struck my fancy.

Whoever designed this set is clearly an aeronautical aficionado. It looks like something you'd see at the Reno Air Races, kind of a cross between a Vought F4U Corsair and a Westland Whirlwind, with a bit of DH.88 Comet thrown in. It's obviously not perfect---the props are so big there would be a real danger of a propstrike on takeoff rotation, and I kind of wish the tailwheel were retractable as well as the main landing gear, but (obviously) neither of those are dealbreakers!
