A Classic

A wonderful flashback to a simpler time for me, Tahu Nuva is the flagship of lego's bionicle winter 2002 line. He came in surprising well off condition, the only defect for the figure was the weapons being a little bent. Hardly noticeable, though. The only gripes with the rest of the package are the folded instructions and lack of mini comic that came with it the originally. But only minor annoyances these are. A Great Piece For Your Collection

I’ve been looking to collect all the older Bionicle sets now that I’m older and have my own money, and I have Takanuva was a must have for me. Ever since I saw him in the Mask of Light movie, I wanted that set. Now that I have it, it definitely holds up to what I wanted.
Obviously the set doesn’t have the same level of articulation as the later sets, but part of the joy of these old sets was the imagination factor. As for play, the gear function works just fine, but his mask is based more on what later versions would use, so you can’t play the game where you knock off masks. Conversely, this just ensures that the mask itself won’t fall off as easily so you can play with the toy with no worries of his face falling off.
The ball joints have a tendency to squeak from age, but they date back to a time when bionicles didn’t break (I’m talking about you lime green joints). So odds are you’re very unlikely to have broken joints unless Takanuva was really sent through the wringer. Of course, he consists mostly of white pieces so fading/yellowing is a real concern. However, I personally am not as concerned about it as others are, but if you want a pristine collection just keep your eyes out and considering buying brand new.

Lots of Fun!! My grandson has enjoyed these now for at least two years and loves them!!

The Toa of fire and leader of the Toa Nuva.

Toa Tahu is an amazing figure, that arrived quickly and without issue. Makes me remember the old collection of bionicles I had as a kid.

Excellent item

It was perfect. My son loved it. Would have liked to have known it didn't have instructions. But otherwise top notch all pieces were there and it went together perfectly.

Great quality, came as advertised

Great quality came exactly as advertised, canister was in great condition. One socket was a little loose so I had to replace it and the swords are slightly loose on the feet but that’s easily fixed. Over all great figure Vollständige Rezension lesen
