Use them for years

Do I recommend using these? You bet. Why? because they are about the handiest tool you'll use around the house, in the garage, on projects and just about anything else that needs a clamp. There are a bit expensive, but worth the money. I have two of these clamps and most of the time, when I need to use a clamp, the other one is needed as well clamping down on the same task. I like the way the clamp pads are made of steel and are wide. If you are on the fence about paying more than 20 bucks, then you may wait for a long, long time to get them cheaper, but if you are picky on how you want to use clamps, then don't stay on the fence too long, because these are worth the money and they don't last long on the store shelves. Kreg Specialty Face Clamp

Very much like the original vise grips, the first Kreg Face Clamp was all metal. This one is that same product I have but with rubberized grips. This is a well made product quality wise and beats the C-clamps & vise grips I used to use with wooden shims. It's a bit faster to use which adds up if you do a lot of Kreg joinery. Must have.

I bought a Kreg jig. After I watched the how to video on Youtube, I found out I had to have this clamp to make the jig work the way it is supposed to. Now I have the set. Good tool but a less expensive one can do the same

I am not knocking Kreg products. This is very well built and functional but let's be honest, Harbor Freight sells the same type of clamps for a 1/3 of the money.

good clamp

I picked this over the others used for pocket holes because of the larger surface area of the clamps steel pads. I was not disappointed. These were about 3$ more so the design outweighs the small extra price. A must have multi-use tool.

A must have companion for any pocket hole system. A multi-function clamping tool with many uses. A perfect addition at a great price. Wish I had found it sooner.

great quality. just expensive. However, I feel you need the larger clamping Ares for proper clamping, especially with the k3.
