Kohler ignition module upgrade
Kohler coil upgrade. The upgrade is because the ignition coils are no longer available with the three prong terminals. The directions that come with the kit are vague at best. I’d recommend a YouTube video that explains the wires you cut because the upgraded coils only have one terminal. My engine was the Kohler courage if that is helpful. Vollständige Rezension lesen

Do yourself a favor and buy these
Before purchasing these coils I learned that the OEM coils were so bad that Kohler recalled them, twice, before enlisting an aftermarket company (MDI?) to make them as a replacement. The difference in all around performance is exceptional. My only regret is that I didn't replace them sooner. Efficient fix
Necessary parts were all included, instructions could be more detailed, example which is #2 cyl. anyway it fit fine on my Craftsman DSG 6500 mower and did not take long to install. Now running on all 2 cylinders.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Saved Our Garden Tractor!
This revived our garden tractor! One of the coils on the Kohler would cut out intermittently after about 5 minutes of mowing. Thought it was a fuel problem, but turned out to be the coil. Best it has started and run since we bought it.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Excellent OEM Product
as an experienced transmission mechanic ,I have little to none experience working On Kohler lawn Tractors I was thankful that the kit came with detailed instructions ,Because you are actually eliminating the complete harness going to 2 coils I would have had a difficult time if I didn't have the Instructions that came with the kit , Had the complete kit installed and running in less than 1/2 hour.

Changed carburerator then put ignition module. Module fixed tractor.
Fixed issue I thought was carburetor originally, It was like mower was only firing 1/2 the time on right side, runs like new again. Someone else I saw said Kholer knows this is an issue with their mower.Vollständige Rezension lesen
