Kirby 110590 Vacuum Cleaner Power Switch - Black

good part, hard to install

Don't fall for the 'it's easy to install' BS. if you don't know how to take apart your kirby and put it back together and get it working... this is NOT an easy job.
you will have to pull the transmission part out. you will have to pull the MOTOR out. you will have to pull out a bunch of other small parts out. you will need to remember where each screw came from so you can put it back in the same place.
there are a couple of wires you need to unhook,, you will need to remember where they go.
it's not super hard to change the switch out,,if you pay ATTENTION to what you are doing.
turns out my problem wasn't the switch,, it was the power cord. right at the point where the cord connects to the switch... oh, well, Now I have a new switch and a new power cord.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Good price, perfect switch, and much better than paying the Kirby dealer $160.00 for the switch and free install from the dealer. Kirby Power Switch OEM Part #110590

Very good quality switch. Seller has instructions for the removal and installation of this switch which make the repair fairly simple even if you are not a mechanically minded person.

Good product and not too hard to replace

Be sure to watch video on how to replace, 1 video shows removing fan housing it is not
necessary to remove it.

Switch fit perfectly in my Ultimate G Diamond edition. Starts every time again. Suggest replacing carbon brushes at the same time as the switch.

The link to the repair instructions did not work for me. Found several Youtube videos that were helpful.

Works fine ...lasts a long time (we hope).

Although a bit of a challenge to install (pretty much have to take the whole thing apart), this switch was the ticket to getting our Kirby back into working order.

Switch-a-roo

If your vacuum runs intermittently it's time to change the switch. It's probably one of the safety buttons in the front, good luck it's not easy but mine worked perfectly
