I5-2320 used for under$30. How could you go wrong?

If your upgrading an i3 or a Celeron or a pentium in a lga 1155 board, for the price this is a great upgrade. Speed is day and night difference. This is a 95 watt version; if you want one that uses fewer watts there are 65 watt versions.

Exceeds 3 GHZ runs cool...

Performs well enough for most games and well enough for any normal home or business use. Second generation runs around 30C cool to 79C hot use, with the correct paste and also making sure everything is clean before assembly. Also make sure good air flow around the computer. old but worth it
