Infant Optics DXR-8AC Camera Add-on Unit

Very helpful for elderly demntia family member

We use this camera in the living room for my mother with dementia. She often falls asleep on the couch, but this camera allows us to see the whole room as well thus allowing us to do chores while she sleeps. It is very easy to toggle back and forth with the other camera we have set up in her bedroom. It was easy to set up and pair with the monitor we already had. These cameras are set up in the basement apartment, but have range with the monitor clear up to the 2nd story of our house and most of our yard. They lose range once we reach the sidewalk along the street in front of our house. The picture is clear and we can change the angle of the camera both up and down and side to side to make sure we are able to easily see her face. It works well at night in the dark also, so we can monitor her while she sleeps. It has been a great help for us for keeping my elderly mother safer.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Very useful,

We have this add-on camera for a long time. The one that comes with the package we had it affixed to the wall right above the baby crib (fantastic picture), then we use this add-on as a portable camera, in the master bedroom, living room, family room, dining room and where ever the baby is to be able to monitor any where in the entire house.
It is not pricy and even if it is, it is worth having it as a portable option to an already great package, by far it is the best baby monitoring package in the market, believe you us, we have researched so many. all fall far behind the Infant Optics products especially DXR-8.

Cheap and works

These infant optics cameras are pretty nice. I have several, baby room, play room, zoom, and wide angle lens... These used ones work just fine and are the cheapest option I’ve seen by a good margin. Worth it.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Excellent camera

Camera provides great images for monitoring baby using either the standard lens or the optical zoom lens. We bought this as an additional camera for our set and it pairs easily with the monitor. You can either manually switch between cameras or put it in “scan” mode and it will switch between automatically every 10 seconds. Great camera !

This camera has been great. The video is good and the sound is adjustable but the loud setting is wonderful. It will even wake me up at night when the kids need me

Good but no zoom lenses or mounting HW

It works well but our brand new one out of the box came with a interchangeable zoom lens and mounting hardware
